The Full Story
Andrei has been creating music since 2006. His humble beginnings start with a venture into rock ensemble instrumentation playing as the founding bass player for Rocco D & the Midnight Blues. From roughly around the same time, he began studying Classical, Spanish, and Flamenco guitar style playing, where he studied some of the most esteemed compositions and began performing for and composing for Classical and Spanish Style Guitar. During his tenure at Valley City State University for his Undergraduate degree, Andrei studied the Big Bass and created several compositions for various ensembles. Most recently, Andrei organized, composed selected works of Bass Grooves on YouTube as well as a series of Guitar and Ensemble Impromptus. His compositional series My Experiment in Timing, was submitted for the FROMM music awards. He is in the process of finishing and performing his String Quartet No. 1: Summer Requiem.

The Angel That Called to Battle: July 2024
Composed in July 2024, The Angel That Called to Battle is a compilation of 5 Impromptu compositions. These pieces reflect upon the callings in life that go into the supernatural. It is contemplative of and reflective of Judeo-Christian centric stories.
The Sea Monster: June 2024
The Sea Monster is an Solo Classical guitar compilation delving into Impromptu composition. The pieces are a story of how the ancient mariners rounding Cape Cod lost their voyages to unbeknownst Sea Monster that comes to bargain.
Lament: May 2024
Lament is the 3rd movement from Andrei's String Quartet No 1; Summer Requiem. The string quartet has since been completed in 2025 with the remaining movements, Blues No 2, Gypsy Romanza, and Requiem. This is slated to be professionally recorded and premiered.
Walk a Mile: May 2024
This is a fun intended exploration of popular themes and motifs coupled with an exploration of Impromptu composition. Throughout the 12 tracks recognizable idioms may be heard.
My Experiment in Timing: May 2023
My Experiment in Timing is an Trio featuring Big Bass, Keyboard, and Drums. Meant to demonstrate the intricate detailings that may occur when changing the timing of simple motifs, these four original pieces (Hip Hop 3, Trap 1, Latin 2, and Eb Pentatonic) demonstrate a world of music theory open for discussion.
5 Improvisations on the Spanish Blues: July 2021
Composed in 2021, this was Andrei's first foray into Impromptu compositional ideas. Combining elements of both the Blues and Spanish themes, these are five joyous pieces for the Classical Guitar.
Summer Swings: Summer 2017
A set of 8 orginal solo guitar compositions and arrangments of 2 standards, Andrei explores the compositional ideas and solo guitar skills he acquired through his study of the classical guitar from his alma mater VCSU.
Valley City State University Senior Recital (Selected Pieces): December 2016
These four pieces: Maxixe, Austin-Barrios Mangore; Capricho Arabe, Francisco Tarrega; Impovisation on a Spanish Theme, Andrei Pilipetskii; and Suite Castellana, Fredrico Moreno Torroba, were recorded at Andrei's senior recital for his undergraduate from VCSU.
